Connectivity & Infrastructure
This region has good roads and new transit lines that help avoid traffic problems. The NH44, or Bellary Road, is a major highway that goes through the northern part of the city. The Outer Ring Road or ORR connects to the eastern part of Bangalore, like Whitefield. The Satellite Town Ring Road, or STRR, makes it easier for trucks and other vehicles to reach the Airport.
The Green Line of the metro goes from the Airport to Madavara. The Blue Line will connect KR Puram to the Airport and is being built right now. It should be done by 2026 or 2027. The Pink Line will connect Kalena Agrahara to Nagawara and is expected to open in late 2026.
Yeshwanthpur Junction is the main train station in the area. Smaller stations like Yelahanka and Hebbal serve local commuters.

The Phoenix Mall of Asia in Hebbal is the best place to shop right now. Other good malls are RMZ Galleria in Yelahanka, Elements Mall in Nagawara, and Orion Mall in Malleswaram.
